Regina Prasad, MS
Founder & CEO
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Regina Prasad, MS is the Founder and CEO at Dovecote Capital. She has been instrumental in advancing innovative life science solutions, and has helped scale startups to a combined valuation of over a billion-dollars by forging strategic enterprise partnerships and driving market expansion.
Before becoming an investor, she helped launch first-in-class at-home and rapid diagnostic testing products across the US and Canada for Simple HealthKit and bioLytical Laboratories.
Her success is rooted in a strong clinical foundation, beginning with pediatric clinical research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and later expanding to managing ENT medical device trials at Johnson & Johnson.
She earned a B.S. in Human Biology from UC San Diego, launching her startup career at Evofem, and later completed an M.S. in Global Medicine at USC.
Driven by impact, she traveled to Cambodia’s Koh Rong Islands to educate women on the reusable Softcup, promoting sustainable menstrual health.
In addition to her role at Dovecote Capital, she is an Investor in Residence at University City Science Center.
