Regina Prasad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Dovecote Capital. Prior to founding Dovecote Capital, Regina worked at Simple HealthKit and bioLytical Laboratories launching first-in-class at-home and rapid diagnostic testing products across the US and Canada.

 

She began her professional journey developing a lab for pediatric hematology and oncology clinical trials at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. A transition into medical devices and diagnostics at Johnson & Johnson followed, where she managed clinical trials for ear, nose and throat devices.

 

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where she was led to work for a femtech company now known as Evofem, marking her entry into the start-up world.

 

She earned a Master of Science in Global Medicine from the University of Southern California soon after. Applying innovation and impact to the real world, she traveled to the remote islands of the Koh Rong Island archipelago to educate Cambodian women on the reusable Softcup, a sustainable and healthier alternative to traditional menstrual support products.
